State Income Taxes
  • State income tax forms are available by accessing the Virginia Department of Taxation website.
  • Federal tax forms are available by accessing the Internal Revenue Service website.
  • Virginia Individual Income Tax returns are due every year on May 1.
  • Our office provides Virginia State Income Tax forms, assistance and tax return preparation for Page County residents free of charge. You must set up an appointment if you need assistance in completing your Virginia State income tax return. Please contact our office at 540-743-3840 to schedule one.
  • You must also bring a completed copy of your federal return, all W-2s and 1099s received, and other applicable documentation in order for the State Return to be completed properly.
  • Amended, Part-Year and Non-Resident Forms are forwarded to the Virginia Department of Taxation and not completed within this office.
  • The Commissioner of Revenue's office also reviews each return mailed to our office to ensure the return has been signed and the proper documentation has been attached.
  • The Accelerated Refunds are keyed in directly to Richmond.
  • The Qualifications for an Accelerated Refund are as follows:
    • Name
    • Address
    • Filing status (must be exactly as filed in prior year)
  • The return is then forwarded to the Department of Taxation. Tax return status information is available at the Virginia Department of Taxation's website or by calling 804-367-8031.
  • State schedules, forms, publications are available for various filing needs.
Estimated Income Taxes
Filing deadlines for Estimated vouchers are as follows:
  • May 1
  • June 15
  • September 15
  • January 15
Initial Filing
The first Virginia Estimated tax payment made with the first voucher should be submitted to the Commissioner of the Revenue's office at:
