Official Voting Information
The Constitution of Virginia requires that persons be registered in the precinct in which they live to be qualified to vote.
In order to be eligible to vote in the General Election, to be held on November 3, 2020, persons must register no later than 4:30 p.m., on Tuesday, October 13, 2020.
Located in the Page County Government Center, 103 South Court Street, Luray, the absentee office will be open on September 18, 2020. Voters may vote absentee in person Monday-Friday, during the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Voting may also be done on Saturday, October 24, 2020 and Saturday, October 31, 2020, during the same hours. October 31, 2020 is the final day to vote absentee in-person. Voting will be held in Room 205 of the County Government Center.
Persons may not register and vote on the same day; there is a 5 day waiting period for new registrants.
Please consider absentee voting by mail. Absentee ballot applications are available and encouraged. They may be requested by phone at 540-743-3986 or email at email@example.com or completed online at www.elections.virginia.gov. If requested online, the time is greatly reduced to obtain your ballot.
Those casting a ballot in-person will need to bring a valid ID.
All requests for reasonable accommodations, due to a disability, should be made to the Registrar with at least 48 hours notice.
Individuals are encouraged to make application for voter registration. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. The office will be closed on Monday, October 12, 2020, in observance of Columbus Day.
