Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, that the Page County Board of Supervisors shall hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on August 1, 2017, in the Board of Supervisors Room, located in the County Government Center, 2nd Floor, 103 South Court Street, Luray, VA, to receive public comments and to consider the following:

Amendments to §125-2 (Application), §125-4 (Definitions - Dwelling and Short-Term Tourist Rental), §125-9 (Woodland-Conservation), §125-10 (Agriculture), §125-11 (Residential), §125-12 (Commercial), and add §125-30.21 (Supplemental Regulations).

Copies of the full text can be reviewed in the Planning & Community Development Office, 103 South Court Street, Suite B, Luray, VA, 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.

Note: Hearing impaired individuals who need an interpreter must notify the Zoning Office at least seven (7) days prior to the hearing.

Special Use Permit Request - Town of Luray

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 15.2-2204 of the Code of Virginia, as amended, that the Page County Planning Commission and Board of Supervisors shall hold a joint public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on August 1, 2017, in the Board of Supervisors Room, located in the County Government Center, 103 South Court Street, 2nd Floor, Luray, VA, to receive public comments and to consider the following:

The Town of Luray has requested a special use permit for property located at 265 Lake Arrowhead Road, Luray, VA, known as Lake Arrowhead, and further identified by tax map number 54-A-35, and zoned as Woodland-Conservation (W-C). The applicant is requesting a special use permit to operate a campground on a portion of the property and that it be granted, as provided in Section 125-66 of the Page County Zoning Ordinance.

Copies of the request and the Page County Zoning Ordinance may be inspected in the Planning & Community Development Office, 103 South Court Street, Suite B, Luray, VA, 8 am to 4 pm, Monday through Friday.
