Boards & Commissions

Page County government has many advisory boards, commissions, and committees which provide opportunities for direct involvement in local government by residents of Page County.  The Board of Supervisors appoints citizens to fill vacancies on most advisory boards, commissions, and committees.

Some boards, commissions, and committees are prescribed by the Code of Virginia; however, many, have been created and authorized through action by the Board of Supervisors.  Many are ongoing, while some are temporary committees created to accomplish certain tasks.

Most of the advisory boards are comprised of appointees from each election district, requiring applicants to live in the district for which the advisory position exists.

The Board of Supervisors recognizes and values the diversity of Page County and encourages all citizens to apply to serve on Board-appointed boards and commissions.

If you would like the Board of Supervisors to consider you for appointment to any of the Boards and Commissions, please call the County Administrator's Office at 540-743-4142 or email Regina Harner.
